Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
- Learn and master pipe fitting, drain cleaning, and fixture repair techniques
- Perform basic plumbing maintenance under supervision (leak repairs, pipe inspections)
- Use power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes at all times
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and certification requirements
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain plumbing certification within 12 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
