Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (experience preferred but willing to train).
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, clearing, and leveling areas as directed by foremen.
- Support Crews: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and welders.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and adhering to strict safety protocols at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in checking and organizing stockpiles of materials to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for long durations.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Teamwork: Must be a reliable team player who shows up on time and works well with others.
