Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and emergency repairs during night operations
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local Austin electrical codes
- Lead small crews on after-hours projects and coordinate with day shift teams
- Document work orders using digital reporting systems
- Participate in preventative maintenance programs for critical infrastructure
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic skills with PLC and VFD systems
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
- Proven emergency response experience
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean record
