Job Overview
As our Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electrical systems during non-standard hours. You will work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, panels, and transformers.
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently.
- Install, wire, and terminate electrical components, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Respond to emergency repair requests and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Document all work orders and repairs accurately in our management system.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) reliably.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and the NEC.
- Physical stamina to climb ladders, lift heavy loads, and work in tight spaces.
