Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations and repairs efficiently.
- Install and maintain lighting systems, motor control centers, and other critical electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during the night shift to resolve power outages and safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used in our digital logbooks.
- Conduct safety inspections and coordinate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shift hours (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
