Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing systems in commercial/residential buildings during overnight hours
- Install pipes, fixtures, and equipment per NYC building codes and safety standards
- Respond to emergency calls for burst pipes, leaks, and drainage failures
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and water systems
- Collaborate with construction teams on new development projects
- Document service reports using digital tracking systems
- Maintain inventory of tools and materials for night shift operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- NYS Master Plumber license (required)
- Valid NYC DOHMH plumbing certification
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Expertise in pipefitting, welding, and backflow prevention
- Strong diagnostic skills for emergency situations
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Knowledge of NYC building codes and OSHA safety protocols
