Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools and light equipment safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work zones
- Read blueprints and instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Load/unload materials and transport equipment to job sites
- Perform trenching, shoveling, and other physical labor as needed
- Report project progress and safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License (required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
- No experience required - paid training provided
