Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Repair: Perform accurate diagnostics and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Installations: Execute new plumbing installations, including water heaters, fixtures, and pipe fitting according to local codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in simple terms, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Tools and Equipment: Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tool belt, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Texas state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Urgent Response: Respond quickly to emergency service calls and prioritize urgent repairs.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Plumber License is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on plumbing experience in a commercial or residential setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding schematic diagrams.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to safety standards.
