Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Install, maintain, and repair water, drainage, and gas piping systems according to local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all plumbing systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Assist in training junior apprentices when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
