Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to weekend service requests and emergency repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document completed work and report any material needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to learn and obtain required electrical certifications.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
