Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems efficiently and accurately.
- Install new piping systems, fixtures, and appliances according to local building codes.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to prevent future plumbing issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan complex installations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical problems and solution options.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Manage inventory of tools and materials to ensure job site readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong working knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with high accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
