Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure system safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation and permits for projects.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current forklift certification is a plus.
