Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation, cleanup, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately
- Maintain organized job sites and report safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- Valid O-10 construction card or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety-first practices
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional overtime
