Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance (hammers, saws, drills)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific hazard prevention
- Assist skilled tradespeople with layout measurements and equipment setup
- Maintain clean, organized work zones and perform quality checks
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and light equipment
- Document daily progress and supply usage for project tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or relevant trade certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical work
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
- Availability for consistent weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions at heights
