As a key member of our weekend crew, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople on residential, commercial, and municipal projects. Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project-specific duties
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in material inventory management and site logistics
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in team settings
