Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely (training provided)
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols and cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report project progress and material requirements to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA and local building codes
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Jacksonville metro area
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6AM-4PM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
