Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and establishing safety barriers
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, tool management, and site cleanup
- Operate basic machinery like jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read blueprints and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Support multiple trades including carpentry, masonry, and demolition tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Las Vegas Valley
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust)
