Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and general labor needs.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and pallet jacks when certified or under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials according to blueprints and specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred; we provide training for motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure) are a plus.
