Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup activities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Perform manual tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Maintain organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or manual labor experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work weekends consistently (6 AM - 4 PM shifts)
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
