Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, site preparation, and material handling tasks with precision
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) following OSHA standards
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with installation and finishing work
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organize tools/materials efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols including PPE usage and hazard recognition
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and demolition operations as needed
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
