Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks including digging, pouring concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and basic heavy machinery under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic quality checks to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
