Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywall hanging, and general site cleanup.
- Material Management: Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Demolition & Prep: Perform light demolition and site preparation work as directed by the site supervisor.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with crew leads and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Safety Mindset: Must have a strong commitment to workplace safety and following protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
