Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pours, structural framing, and finish carpentry tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols and equipment
- Load/unload materials and operate light machinery (skid steers, forklifts)
- Collaborate with skilled trades teams (electricians, plumbers) on integrated projects
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital logs
- Adhere to NYC building codes and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years construction labor experience with weekend/night shift history
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) card preferred
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction math
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL or forklift certification a major plus
- Reliable transportation to multiple borough sites
