Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in cleaning, organizing, and preparing construction sites before the start of each shift.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the work site.
- Basic Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and handheld equipment under strict supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of each shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and reports as required by site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety are essential.
