Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and maintain equipment
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols on active job sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling
- Perform site cleanup and waste management daily
- Report project progress and material needs to site supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience in skilled trades
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays, 6AM-4PM)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
