Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and demolition under supervisor guidance
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (drills, saws, levels, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of construction plans
- Maintain organized workspace and report equipment maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience (internships accepted)
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
