Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Assist senior electricians with complex installations and troubleshooting.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Must be willing to learn: No prior electrician experience is required for this position.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
