Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, trenching, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, cleanup, and safety compliance
- Load/unload construction materials and tools using proper lifting techniques
- Operate basic machinery (saws, drills, compactors) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain job site organization and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation
- Collaborate with crew members to meet weekend project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented work ethic
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) 6AM-4PM
- Basic tool knowledge and ability to follow verbal instructions
