Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare work areas by moving materials and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform site cleanup and debris removal following OSHA standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Support heavy lifting and material handling as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays/Sundays 6AM-6PM)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours in outdoor conditions
