Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for precise project execution
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate weekend shift schedules and deadlines
- Conduct safety inspections and implement proper lockout/tagout procedures
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for weekend projects
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional electrical experience with weekend shift preference
- Valid Michigan Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
