Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead weekend on-call rotation for urgent service requests
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana electrician license (Master preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with troubleshooting tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of NEC updates and local regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 6AM-6PM)
