Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Install, modify, and maintain lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, non-compliance issues, or energy savings opportunities.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and maintenance requests during weekend shifts.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and material usage.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
