Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving operations
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and forklifts
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex builds
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Class B CDL or heavy equipment operation certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for weekend and overtime shifts
- Basic math and measurement proficiency
