Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and circuit testing using advanced tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Lead weekend project teams while coordinating with weekday crews
- Conduct system inspections and generate detailed maintenance reports
- Manage inventory and equipment for weekend operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with weekend shift history
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- OSHA 30-hour Construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure weekend environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
