Responsibilities
- Perform routine residential and commercial electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance.
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical system issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Respond to emergency service calls and customer requests during weekend shifts.
- Interact professionally with homeowners and business owners to explain technical solutions.
- Utilize power tools, test meters, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork regarding work performed.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required: We are looking for the right attitude and work ethic; training provided.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses as required by Michigan state law.
