Your Day-to-Day
As a Weekend Electrician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality electrical work, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs on commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project status.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required (valid in New Mexico).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
