Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials for weekend assignments
- Document work performed and maintain service records
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license in Kentucky (or reciprocity with NC)
- 3+ years of residential/commercial electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC standards and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
