Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 and Florida Building Codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead weekend emergency response teams for critical outages
- Mentor junior technicians on safety protocols
- Manage inventory and material requisitions for weekend projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Florida Journeyman Electrician license (E-2)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in troubleshooting PLC systems and VFDs
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade permitting processes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Fluent in English/Spanish preferred
- Clean driving record and valid Florida driver's license
