Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to ensure the seamless operation of our facility and client sites during weekend shifts. You will troubleshoot complex electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential, commercial, and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage, accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with the team lead and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent certification) in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work orders.
