We are seeking a Weekend Electrician to handle a variety of commercial and residential projects. You will be the first point of contact for clients during critical weekend hours, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum reliability. Responsibilities
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond swiftly to emergency outages and faults during weekend hours, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- System Installations: Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, wiring, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients and property managers, providing clear explanations of work performed and cost estimates.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, NEC codes, and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-injury workplace.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize your tool inventory, ensuring all equipment is in top working condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of New York required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work full weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and using electrical testing equipment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
