Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Lead weekend project teams for urgent maintenance and installations
- Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers and facility supervisors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Kansas electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with PLC systems and VFD troubleshooting
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in weekend environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Experience with energy-efficient lighting systems
