As a Weekend Electrician, you will be responsible for performing complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance during off-peak hours. We offer a dynamic work environment where your expertise directly impacts our clients' satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance during weekend shifts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently to resolve complex issues with minimal downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including all tools and equipment after use.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project status and electrical concerns.
- Collaborate with the weekday team to ensure seamless handovers and project continuity.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local San Jose building codes.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) and occasional holidays as required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Card is a plus.
