Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Louisiana state regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Manage weekend emergency response calls for critical power outages
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with industrial controls, VFD systems, and emergency power systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Excellent weekend availability and reliability
- Valid driver's license with clean record
