Responsibilities
- Perform safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan work.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local Milwaukee building codes and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and power distribution issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License (required for immediate hire).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical work.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driverβs License with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and electrical hazards.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
