Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialized testing equipment
- Coordinate with contractors and project managers to meet deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool inventory
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, troubleshooting, and power tools
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with daytime hours
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
