Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic inspections and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, pipe bursts, and clogs.
- Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, and drainage systems.
- Respond to emergency service calls with speed and professionalism, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide accurate estimates and transparent communication with customers regarding repairs and costs.
- Manage inventory and ensure the proper maintenance of company vehicles and tools.
- Adhere to all local building codes and safety regulations in the District of Columbia.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License issued by the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong working knowledge of copper, PEX, PVC, and cast-iron piping.
- Proven ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call rotations.
- Excellent customer service skills and a clean driving record.
