Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform emergency weekend plumbing services for residential and commercial clients
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order plumbing supplies efficiently
- Document service reports and maintain client communication records
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid NYC Plumber's License and certification in backflow prevention
- Expertise in trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting technologies
- Strong diagnostic skills for water pressure, drainage, and gas line issues
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holidays
