Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery (forklifts, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain OSHA compliance through proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints/specifications
- Perform cleanup and debris removal operations
- Collaborate with supervisors on project timelines
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Basic tool operation knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- Willingness to travel between Detroit and Ohio sites
