Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction projects (framing, concrete, demolition)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure safety compliance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Operate light machinery (e.g., saws, drills) after proper training
- Participate in daily safety briefings and follow OSHA guidelines
- Complete timecards accurately for weekly processing
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Team player with strong work ethic and punctuality
