Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling
- Operate hand/power tools including jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal operations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Minimum 6 months construction site experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Texas driver's license for equipment operation
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
